Hello Janni and all you other locals. This was such a great idea! I blog all the time. My name is Celise Colston (writing as Celise Downs) and I live in Phoenix. I'm the owner of Gemini Mojo Press (soon to be changed to something else) and I write YA. My first two books, Secrets and Kisses (Mar 2004) and Dance Jam Productions (Sept 2004) are self-pubbed, however I've decided to go the traditonal route with my next project: a 6-book series about a 16 yr old girl who gets recruited by the FBI as an informant. I just finished the first draft of Book Two. I finished the first round of agent submissions a few months ago and it's been made perfectly clear that I need to revise Book One. I'll be doing that very soon and then I'll start the whole process again next year.
